What a Regular Service Looks Like
Every swimming pool, spa, sauna or steam room is different and will require varying services. Here at Aqua Platinum Servicing, we provide a wide range of maintenance, servicing, surveying and more specifically designed to suit various requirements – both residential and commercial. With our combined years of experience, our team are experts in independent surveying for saunas and steam rooms. Whether a residential property sauna is in need of repair, or a commercial steam room requires regular servicing. We can help. From electrical servicing and repairs to structural repairs and surveying.
A regular service would look like the following -
- Attend the job at the correct time as stated on Job Logic.
- Catch up with the client/site team to ensure all is okay.
- Turn on the steam room/sauna so this can get up to temperature.
- Carry out the water chemistry testing.
- Calibrate the chemical dosing unit (if installed)
- Check over and clean of probes, and clean strainer.
- Backwash filter(s) as much as needed / as long as possible if water allows.
- Cleaning of all pump baskets, and chemical injectors and ensuring dosing lines and hoses are good, clear and secure.
- Isolate the chemical controller sample valves and add any chemicals to the pool. Usually alcaplus and hardness increaser.
- Brush, vac and net the pool and or spa in question to a spotless standard.
- Testing of all features in the pool/spa including spa heat-up buttons, jets etc.
- Re-open the sample valves, and let the chemical controller settle out with the dosing off. Re-test and calibrate if needed.
- Final checks of pool, spa and plant room to make sure everything is operating as it should.
- Update the client/site team with what we have carried out.
